How it all started...
It started with a vision about reaching the World with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Pastor Ryan then recieved the name of the ministry in a Tuesday night Prayer meeting in 1999. The Lord gave him the name House of Refuge. In October 2005 the ministry was birth in the living room sharing God's Word. it was his immediate family and a few friends in attendance (8 people). In a few short months the ministry grew and we had to move from the living room space we were in.
Today, House of Refuge International is in two location (MA, FL) and is a growing church that Loves People, Restore Lives and Make Disciples.

Expanding the vision...
We are called to serve our communities and through Project HOPE we are able to serve food for families twice per month. Through Project HOPE we serve over 500 people each month with food, clothes and in the future we will be providing housing for those in great need.
Where we are headed...
As a community of believers, we endeavor to see God's Kingdom prosper in our world today. With this mindset, we envision a ministry that has several locations, reaching God's people globally with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We have a mandate to teach God's Word and to make disciples wherever we go. Our Culture is to "Love People, Restore Lives, Make Disciples."
