Ryan Walker

Head Pastor

Rev. Ryan Walker is the founder and senior pastor of House of Refuge Int'l (HORI). A former Electrical Engineer, Rev. Ryan Walker received the call to active ministry and House of Refuge International was established in 2005. The first church service was held in the living room of a friend with only eight people in attendance. The Ministry has had to move location over the years and God enabled HORI to purchase the building which currently house the Ministry.
A native of Jamaica, Rev. Ryan Walker obtained his BA degree in Counseling and Christian Education from the Oral Roberts University, located in Tulsa, Oklahoma, USA.  Rev. Walker is an anointed Teacher of the Word of God with a meticulous yet comprehensive style in teaching which demonstrates his passion for the Word. For the past three years Rev. Walker has taught in the Latin American Bible Seminary in Springfield, MA.
With his practical approach to the Bible, Rev. Ryan Walker continues to encourage people to pursue a personal relationship with God.
Rev. Walker currently resides in Springfield, MA with his wife Vonetta and their three children.

Vonetta Walker

Vonetta S. Walker was born and raised in Springfield MA. She surrendered her life to Christ and was baptized at age of 12 years old in her birth church – True Vine Pentecostal Church of God under the leadership of the late Bishop Dermoth Green, her grandfather. It was there that she discovered her sing ministry. At the age of 15, she became the choir director and served on the praise and worship team. In October 2005, her husband under the unction of the Holy Spirit was led to begin ministry. It was there she became an ordained minister and proudly serves alongside her husband Pastor Ryan Walker as Copastor, youth leader, praise and worship leader, and Women’s Ministry President. It is her desire to serve others and live a life exemplary of a Kingdom Woman.
